Search result removal

Remove damaging results from Google and Bing.

A page-one link is a verdict the world reads every day. Where the underlying page qualifies for removal under platform policy or law, we remove it at the source and de-index it from search. Where it does not, we say so, and we suppress it instead.

Deleting a link is harder than it looks.

Search engines index the web; they do not own it. Google and Bing will remove or de-index a result when the underlying page violates policy, when it concerns specific personal data under laws like the GDPR right to delisting, or when the page itself qualifies under court order. Every other result they keep, and no honest firm can force them otherwise.

Removal therefore happens at two layers. Source removal: the page itself comes down through the host, platform or publisher, which takes the link with it. De-indexing: the page stays online but disappears from search for qualifying queries, which ends most of the harm because almost nobody finds pages that search does not show.

What a search result removal engagement includes

  • Every damaging result qualified against platform policy and law
  • Source takedown filings with hosts, platforms and publishers
  • Google and Bing de-index and GDPR delisting requests
  • Autocomplete and related-search cleanup
  • Suppression of results that legitimately remain
  • Written verification and re-appearance checks

First removals typically land within days of filing; full arcs run 4 to 12 weeks.

Damaging page-one results in a typical anonymised engagement. Not every result qualifies for removal, and we tell you which ones do before you spend anything.

Why the source matters more than the link

Removing a link without removing the page treats the symptom. The page still exists for anyone who bookmarked it, for other search engines, and for AI assistants that read the open web. Source removal is the only durable fix, and it is always where we start.

There is also a strategy question. Aggressive filings against lawful pages waste money and can draw attention to material nobody was reading. We qualify first, file where the grounds are real, and spend your suppression budget only on results that genuinely remain.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Can you get any search result removed?

No. Results qualify for removal or de-indexing only when the underlying page violates platform policy or law, such as personal data covered by GDPR delisting. We screen every result first and give you an honest verdict, in writing, before any engagement starts.

What is the difference between removal and de-indexing?

Removal takes the underlying page offline everywhere. De-indexing leaves the page online but removes it from Google and Bing results for qualifying queries, which ends most of the practical harm. GDPR delisting is the strongest de-index route for personal data in Europe.

How long does a de-index request take?

Search engines typically review de-index requests within days to a few weeks. Complicated cases, appeals and legal routes take longer. We file in parallel at the source wherever possible, because a removed page takes its links with it.

What if my result does not qualify for removal?

Then suppression is the honest answer: we strengthen accurate material that deserves to rank above the negative result and push it off page one. We never promise removals the policy does not support.
